Italy dominated the whole match with 66% possession and 19 shots were taken with completing a total of 820 passes. While England merely completed 426 passes and took only 6 shots. The match went on to the penalty after the extra time went undecided with a 1-1 draw.
England’s left wing-back Luke Shaw scored the goal in the opening minutes of the match. Italian Leonardo Bonucci equalized at 61′ minute and the match went to the penalty ended and 3-2 in the favour of Italy.
Both the keepers gave their best to save their team from losing. Italy was first to shoot the penalty and Domenico Berardi converted the first penalty for the team. Harry Kane scored the first penalty for England.

Federico Bernardeschi scored the fourth penalty for Italy, making the score 3-2 in their favor, for England Jadon Sancho took the fourth penalty and Gianluigi Donnarumma denied him to give Italy hope to win.
Jorginho took the last penalty for Italy which Jordan Pickford saved again to get England back in the game. But the Italian goalkeeper heroically saved the last penalty to make Italy the champions in the euro 2020.
