NBA, Warriors vs 76ers: Going into the road trip of five games, the Warriors were outmuscled by the 76ers 102-93. Enjoying plenty of home-court wins and facing not so bigger opponents Warriors handle it pretty solid.

Stephen Curry is on the verge to surpass Ray Allen for all-time made threes. However, he only made three of them. He could easily break it in the next match or two.

In place of their star player, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole kept the Warriors in the game. The bad performance from Curry was not a big problem till the halftime break.

For the 76ers, Joel Embiid led the way with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and four assists. He was 100% from the Free throw line banging 11 of 11. Tobias Haris gave the helping hand with his 16 points and he too collected 9 rebounds.

Warriors even with Curry’s struggle would not go away ending the first quarter trailing with one point. The second quarter saw a see-saw as the 76ers jumped out with a 10 points lead. Well, Curry and Green come to play with a 21-8 run to close the half.

Green locked in defensively and led several counters in transition, bringing the Warriors within one possession. Then, after Matisse Thybulle picked up his third foul and was forced to the bench, Curry made his first two threes of the game.

Draymond Green was locked up on Joel Embid limiting him to 1-8 shooting from the field in the opening half. However, as Green picked up his fourth foul in the early second half, Embiid began to grow his confidence.

The third quarter was a tied at the score with both teams scoring 24 points. However, the story is interesting. Warriors with the help of their perimeter shooting gathered around a double-digit lead. But, a late 9-0 run denied the visitors a greater than three points advantage.

It was the fourth quarter where everything fell apart for the visitors. 76ers were sluggish on the offensive end, however, their defense was cramping the Warriors with space.

With the frustration on the offensive end, the visitors could not understand a thing while the hosts extended their lead.

Curry finished with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, but was just 3-for-14 from three. Andrew Wiggins racked up 20 points while Jordan Poole recorded 23 points, mostly in the third quarter, continuing his recent hot offensive stretch.
