AUS vs WI 1st t20. Australia tour of West Indies started with a bang for the sides. It was the 1st of 5 T-20 at Beausejour Stadium. Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia’s Choosing to bowl was looking like a good choice as West Indies were 24/4 at the powerplay mark. West Indies were in trouble but then came Russell the muscle scoring 52 off just 28 delivery. Pushing West Indies’ score to 145/6 at the end of 20 overs. For Australia, Josh Hazelwood and Mitchell Marsh were the only successful bowlers with 3 for 12 and 2 for 26 in their 4 overs respectively.
Australia in reply lost the skipper Aaron Finch with just 8 runs on the board. Matthew Wade and Mitchell Marsh started smashing the ball hard, taking on the bowlers. Wade departed scoring 33 off 14 deliveries while marsh scored 51 off 31. but after the departure of Moses Henriques, it was just a matter of time for the Australian side to fold off at 127.
