Chelsea ends clash against united in a draw.

Jadon Sancho capitalized on a mistake by Jorginho to put the Red Devils ahead, notching his first Premier League goal. However, Jorginho atoned for his error with the equalizer from the penalty spot after Aaron Wan-Bissaka fouled Thiago Silva.

Chelsea could have won the game at the death, but Antonio Rudiger missed a golden chance to allow Michael Carrick’s men to leave with a share of the spoils.

It was all Chelsea game from the beginning but couldn’t finish their chances. United couldn’t hold the ball for long in the match. The game was played very furiously by both the team committing a total of 27 fouls and receiving 7 yellow cards.

Chelsea tried their luck 24 times towards goal but nothing good came out of it. The first half ended without any goal scored except a few chances here and there.

Despite all the possession, Chelsea kept themselves united scored the first goal. It was a horrible mistake by Jorginho, which gave Sancho a clear opening and 1 on 1 situation against Mendy. The forward did no mistake and finished perfectly in the bottom of the net.

After the first goal, the came took the turn and desperation could be seen in Chelsea players to score. The foul Wan-Bissaka committed on Thiago Silva in the penalty area gave Jorginho the chance to equalize and attone for his mistake. He did as expected and put the ball in the left bottom corner while De Gea jumped the wrong way.

Chelsea still are the league leaders but only 1 point more than Manchester City(30 points). Winning 9 out of 13 played.

Chelsea are now winless in their last eight Premier League games against Man Utd (D5 L3), only having a longer run without a league win against the Red Devils once before (10 games between 1938 and 1950).

During the month of November so far, Manchester United (17) has mustered the fewest number of shots of all Premier League sides, whilst also facing more attempts than any team (60).

Manchester United managed just one further attempt after taking the lead this evening, with their total of three shots their lowest in a Premier League game since April 2017 against Manchester City (also 3).
