Premier League: Chelsea vs Norwich City was a blast for a Chelsea winning by 7-0 at Stamford Bridge. This victory will ensure a top-of-the-table hold as well as a good goal difference.

Seven goals for Chelsea, and none in reply, see Chelsea bridge a four-point gap between themselves and Liverpool with a near-perfect performance that saw man-of-the-match Mason Mount pick up a hat-trick, as well as three other Chelsea scorers and an own goal from Max Aarons. It was a complete annihilation of Norwich who doesn’t look anywhere near good enough to secure their status in the Premier League.
Both the halves were conquered by the blues. A torturing match for Norwich as back-to-back goals scored by Chelsea made it hard for them to get hold of the ball. Scoring 7 goals in total and conceding none, is quite a scoreline.
Man of the match Mason Mount was the one to score the opener at just 8 minutes past kickoff. Ball received at the edge of the box. The clearance by Jarley wasn’t anywhere near far away enough and Jorginho won the ball back for Chelsea. He passed it to Mount who smashed the ball past Krul and into the bottom corner.
Chelsea came up with the shocker just having scored the first. Callum Hudson Odoi is the scorer. A brilliant pass by Kovacic through the defender found Callum’s feet. A placement finish by the scorer in the bottom corner of the net.
The third Chelsea player also stepped up to score for the team. Reece James received the pass from over the defensive line by Mason Mount. He chipped it above the keeper into the net. A clinical finish by Reece took Chelsea in 3 goals lead.
The first half commenced with 3 goals in Chelsea’s pocket and no goal conceded. Norwich couldn’t take the ball in Chelsea’s Penalty area for once in the whole half. The match looked one-sided from the point when Chelsea scored the 3rd goal.
Chelsea didn’t stop at 3rd, Hungry for more the team scored the 4th goal at 57th minute. Ben Chilwell was the scorer. It was his third goal in 3 marches for Chelsea. Mateo Kovacic, receiving the assist, passed the ball to Chilwell’s left-hand side of the box. Ben scored it across the keeper into the right bottom corner.
It was an absolute nightmare for Krul as the Hudson-Odoi cross deflected off Aarons on its way to goal. The Norwich keeper couldn’t react quick enough and the ball squirmed under him to make it 5-0 to Chelsea. A stroke of luck in this goal perhaps, but it was undeniable that Chelsea has deserved everything they’ve got in this match.
Chelsea earned a penalty who was taken by Mason Mount. The penalty was saved the first time by Krul but the keeper stepped out of the line early and Mason got Another chance to score. Mount made no mistake the second time and fired the ball past Krul, who went the right way again, to make it 6-0 to the home side.
Mount had a hat-trick. Loftus-Cheek broke forward in acres of space and surged into the box. He could shoot but cut the ball back to Mount who sidefooted it home into an empty net.
It was an absolute disaster, as the team not only conceded 7 goals but also couldn’t manage to score 1, in addition to that the team even received a red card at 65 minutes and went 1 man down.
