“We have to cope up at the mental level. We played good cricket to reach this position in the tournament. We have lost a few games but this is a part and parcel of a tournament like this one and we need to fine-tune our preparation a bit. It is not the factor(Motivation) and guys are highly motivated. It would have looked worse if they have batted first after the toss. The pitch changed a bit in the second innings but it was a good one yet challenging.”

KL Rahul:

“It was really hot and our plan was simple. We were told about a few permutations and combinations and the plan was to chase the target before 14 overs. I am glad that it came off for me in this match and also I had the license to go. I had complete clarity of what he wanted to do. I know my role in the team and I don’t want to let my team down by playing how I want. You can hit every ball when you are in the zone but it’s important to hold your shape and that’s the only thing I keep on reminding myself. There is no better feeling than hitting the ball from the middle of the bat.”
