However, Josh Hazlewood, Australian pace bowler, has shown his availability to feature in the IPL for the UAE leg. The pacer is in terrific form picking up 8 wickets in the recent series vs Bangladesh. He missed the first leg with the domestic cup and spending some time with family and friends.
CSK CEO KS Viswanathan fortified the availability of Josh Hazlewood. He said, “Hazlewood has confirmed his availability for the second phase of IPL starting from 19 September. The BCCI has confirmed that players who were not available in the first phase can join the respective teams in the second phase if they are fit and available. Considering Hazlewood’s form, he will be a great addition to our team.”
