Premier League: Match day 1, Arsenal saw the first upset.

Manchester United vs Leeds United:

Liverpool vs Norwich City:
Liverpool was victor against Norwich City. The match ended with 3 goals to 0 in Liverpool’s favor. The goal scored by Mohamed Salah helped him to achieve a milestone, he became the first player to score goals in five consecutive matchdays 1.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur:
The last match of the matchday was between 2 bitter rivals. The defending champions tasted defeat by conceding 1 goal. Possession was in the city’s favor but still were not able to get a victory against Tottenham.

LA-LIGA: Barcelona wins their first match after Messi’s transfer.

Real Madrid vs Alaves:
Real Madrid won with 4 on their side and conceding 1 goal by penalty. Eden Hazard showed great performance by getting an assist after having few very dull years. All 5 goals were scored in the second half of the match.

Atlético Madrid vs Celta Vigo:
The match ended in Atlético Madrid’s favor with 2 goals to 1. The match saw 2 red cards, 1 on each side. Both the goals were scored by Correa for Atlético Madrid. Alaves tied the game in the second half at 1-1 by scoring a penalty, but Correa stepped up again to secure Madrid a win.

FC Barcelona vs Real Sociedad:
It was the first match for Barcelona after Lionel Messi leaving. Goals from Martin Braithwaite and Gerrard Pique gave Barcelona a 2-0 lead at halftime. The match ended in Barcelona winning by 4 goals to 2. The last goal was scored at 90+2′ by Sergio Roberto. Possession and match Both were handled by FC Barcelona.
