IPL 2021, DC vs RR: Delhi Capitals capitalizes on Royal’s weakness as they win by 33 runs. Delhi’s bowling attack stops royal’s batters at just 121.
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl as the case so far because of the easiness to chase.
Royals did get a couple of breakthroughs early on. Kartik Tyagi started where he left off, Catching Dhawan lousy with his pace. While a defective shot selection from Delhi’s right Hander opener gifts Chetan Sakariya his first wicket.
The fastest bowler in IPL was again a super hit film as his pace breathes fire.
Mustafizur Rahman was superb with his four overs spell giving mere 22 runs and picking up two wickets. A bouncer just outside off and Pant wanting to go leg side but edging it to the stumps. An accurate yorker found a thick outside edge to Chetan at 3rd man which gave Mustafizur his second wicket.
Delhi with their falling wickets still crawled their way past 150. with the late contribution of the tail.
Royals batting collapsed as DC’s bowling attack was once again brilliant. Sanju Samson made a lone run but it wasn’t enough. His unbeaten innings consisted of eight boundaries and a six. Bowling themselves out for only 121 as RR shows us a different picture.
Rajasthan never hot going with the bat as they lost Liam Livingstone and Yasasvi Jaiswal early, David Miller too did not last long and runs were hard to come by.
Sanju Samson did not get the support at the other end and with that, the required rate climbed higher and higher. It was a tough outing for RR.
