Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Kieran Pollard all failed to perform for MI. This is worrisome as MI are in need of those wins desperately.
The only positive for Mumbai Indians is that from the last matches, their opening stand has been of a high standard. Quinton de Kock(24) is always destructive till he is on the crease, while Rohit(43) has been in a tremendous form lately.
Yuzvendra Chahal after two silent games regains the confidence against mighty MI picking up 3 important breakthroughs. Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan failed to recognize the googlies while Bumrah was not the one to be blamed.
Mumbai needs just one game to turn their fortune around as they have done several times in the past. Their bowling is also a big positive with Trent Boult boulting yorkers right at the spot.
RCB were the better team going forward in this match. Winning the match by a comfortable 54 runs.
