Pakistan blundered at the start with 2-3 in 4 overs. Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales striking early to West Indies a head start.
However, Babar Azam and the unorthodox Fawad Alam’s partnership took Pakistan to a solid position. Babar Azam was shy of the century with his 75 with 13 boundaries. A superb display from the skipper.
Some small contributions at the end saw Pakistan cross the 300 mark. Pakistan declared at 302-9.
Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales took 3 wickets each, while Jason holder grabbing 2 wickets.
West Indies had no answer for Shaheen.
With 300 trailing, West Indies never looked comfortable. They lost wickets at regular intervals and not gaining any momentum at all.
The notable performances were Bonner with 37 runs, Blackwood with 33 runs, and Holder with 26 runs. No other batsman could even go past double digits.
Shaheen Afridi just ripped apart the West Indies batting taking 6 wickets. Mohammad Abbas grabbed 3 wickets, while Faheem Ashraf getting only 1.
West Indies were bowled out for just 150 runs.
Pakistan’s quick 176-6 gave them enough time for the win.
With a 152 runs lead and a day washed out with rain, Pakistan started the 2nd innings quickly. Their intention was crystal clear, score quickly and put West Indies to bat.
No big scores but it was enough to give West Indies a target of 328. Pakistan declared their innings at 176-6d.
Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph picking up 2 wickets each. While Kyle Mayers and Kraigg Brathwaite grabbed 1 each.
West Indeis hears a similar story.
West Indies started with intention but could not hold themselves together. Losing wickets from time to time.
Jason Holder missing out on his half-century with 47 runs. While skipper Brathwaite with 39 runs pushed West Indies past 200.
Shaheen Afridi completes his 10 wickets in the match with 4 wickets in the 2nd innings. Nauman Ali striking thrice and Hasan Ali taking 2 wickets.
