Pro Kabaddi League Season 8: Arjun Deshwal sparkles his magic again with a super-10. Jaipur gets a win against Puneri Paltan, placed second last in the PKL points table.
Jaipur blasted out with an early 7-2 lead and 7 minutes in the match. Just past the 10-minute mark, an all-out was enforced on the Paltan. The lead was 9 points for the Panthers.
But as the first half’s time was coming to an end, Puneri Paltan tied the score 17-17 giving an all-out to the Jaipur Pink Panthers. This match marked the return of Nitin Tomar however he did not raid much but got four points to finish the match.
In the meantime, Puneri Paltan were outplayed again and were all-out for the second time. Jaipur was managing that four-point lead consistently. On both ends, Jaipur was impressive. 15 raid points and 11 tackle points were good to take down the Paltan.
Arjun Deshwal managed 11 points while Deepak Niwas Hooda, not playing the whole, got 3 points. Shaul Kumar and Sandeep Dhull both were amazing and ended with 4 tackle points each. A total of seven players scored points for Jaipur Pink Panthers.
Aslam Inamdar scored the highest six points for Paltan. However, they lacked a real leader who would lead from the front. Pankaj Mohite scored four raid points and Nitin Tomar too scored four points.
Defensively too, they were not that great. Aslam converted three tackles while Vishal Bhardwaj took two points. Puneri Paltan are lacking some firepower and hopefully, Nitin Tomar’s comeback can make that happen.
